The EVS 500 range offers a capacity ranging between 4lbs/2kg to 10lbs/5kg, accommodating those producing smaller amounts of dross per de-dross. The EVS 500 range has the ability for single operation dedrossing of wave or selective soldering machines.

Its integrated hopper makes the transfer of dross from the wave or selective to the EVS simpler and safer, speeding up dedrossing times by up to 75%. This provides a cleaner wave with less maintenance, less downtime, a reduction in shorts and bridging as well as the potential to discontinue the use of messy wave oils and/or dross reduction powders.

The EVS500 is available with the following options:

**EVS500 & EVS500LF Desktop Model** **Only**– this is the simplest form of the EVS500, which connects directly to your plant exhaust. The dross is expelled into the dross tray in the machine, which can be easily removed.

**EVS500CAB & EVS500LFCAB Single Cabinet**– this includes an automated dross chute, where the left-over powder is dispensed through a chute into the sealed dross bin. The EVS500 machine connects directly to your plant exhaust.

**EVS500CABF & EVS500LFCABF Double Cabinet**– this includes an automated dross chute and a fume extraction unit. This unit filters the fumes produced from the machine and prevents any smells from being emitted into the plant. The EVS500 machine connects directly to this fume extraction unit.

The EVS Systems operate on an automatic cycle, so the operator doesn’t have to spend valuable time with the machine. Simply load the machine and press the start button and the EVS will take care of the rest. What you put in is what you get out- the EVS systems only process the dross that you put in; no additives are added at any point throughout its cycle. The EVS500 process produces clean solder bars by filtering the solder before dispensing into the ingot tray. This additional step further contributes to the recycling of your solder from your dross and ensuring that the solder that drains is as pure as possible- please see Solder Quality for more information.

As the 500CAB and 500CABF systems are positioned on a moveable cabinet, you can move the EVS System with ease to your wave or selective machine, making dedrossing easier and safer. The EVS machine can then be moved out of the way, plugged in and the cycle started, processing the loaded dross while your operators continue on other duties. The EVS500 systems will recover solder from your dross, producing bars that are ready to be dropped into your wave machine, or can be stored and used at your convenience. This is a self-efficient process, allowing you to recover solder from your own dross onsite and have your own supply of bars.
